Common questions

How do I restore my Pro purchase?
Open any document, tap ⋯ (More) ▸ Restore Purchase. Pro bought on iPhone or iPad also unlocks the Mac app with the same Apple Account.

Why is there a small "Edited with RavalaPDF" note on my PDF?
Text edits made without Pro are saved with that note. Unlock Pro and save again to remove it.

Does redaction really remove the text?
Yes. Applying redactions removes the underlying text and image pixels in the marked areas and strips document metadata, rather than drawing a box over them.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything, including text recognition and Office conversion, runs on your device.
